'Strikey' has joined Breyer's traditional collection following a competition to make a star RDA horse into a Breyer model. Strikey has been with the Shelley Centre for Therapeutic Riding, in Ipswich, for 15 years. During this time he has helped many disabled children and adults gain therapeutic benefit, personal achievement and enjoyment from riding. He was nominated by several riders, parents, helpers and their sponsors, having provided around 8,000 riding opportunities for disabled adults and children. The Treasure Trove-sponsored competition was designed to help the RDA celebrate its 40th anniversary, and for each model sold Treasure Trove will donate £4 to the RDA. The Strikey packaging contains RDA branding and details about the Treasure Trove donation.
