Saddle Club Launch

he stars of TV’s popular Saddle Club have come to life for horse mad girls in the UK with Treasure Trove Toys unveiling a comprehensive range of Breyer models based on the PopGirl TV show. TV advertising is also planned to support the range in 2010.

Based on the books written by the popular childrens’ author Bonnie Bryant, the live-action series follows the adventures of three young friends who formed the Saddle Club at Pine Hollow Stables. Prancer, Belle and Starlight are the equine stars and the best friends of Lisa, Stevie and Carole.

Breyer’s Saddle Club collection of horses, figures and accessories, has already been a huge hit in the United States & Australia, and is expected to be equally successful in the UK. The models will come in Breyer’s 1:12th Classics and 1:24th Stablemates scale with sets ranging from £12.99 full retail.

Breyer is recognised as the world’s leading equestrian model maker, producing authentic collectibles and play sets for the past 60 years.

Ignition Licensing - the independent UK based international brand management and licensing agent - was recently appointed UK Merchandising & Licensing Agent for the Saddle Club, and is responsible for developing the merchandising rights to the popular girl’s TV programme.
